What is Parks Victoria's aim?
Their aim is to maintain the environment in about 4 hectares (or 17% of Victoria, Australia) and they also want to connect the community with the national parks.

The 3 Strategies
Parks Victoria: Koala Management, uses 3 different strategies to follow their aim.
The 3 strategies are:
> Fertility control- They use contraceptive implants.
> Koala relocation- The koalas' get moved into safer and more suitable habitats.
> Habitat manipulation- Protection of individual trees

Who is Parks Victoria?
Parks Victoria is a statutory authority. They work with other government and non-governement organisations and also community groups like the Department of Sustainability and Environment, catchment management authorities, private land owners, friends, volunteers, tour operators, research institutes and the community.
When did it start and how long has it been going for?
Parks Victoria is celebrating it's 10 year anniversary. This means that it started in 1998 created by the Parks Victoria Act.
